The formfitting SmallRig 1830 Cage offers dedicated support and protection for your 7" Blackmagic Design Video Assist onboard monitor/4K recorder. This sturdy aluminum cage features top and side NATO rails and multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI-style threads for mounting accessories.
The included clamp secures your HDMI cable from accidentally detaching, and slots on both sides of the cage enable you to attach a carrying strap if desired. The 1830 Cage can be paired with the separately available 1840 Sunshade when glare protection is required.
SmallRig Monitor Cage for Blackmagic Video Assist 7’’ 1830 is a Monitor cage which can fit your Blackmagic Video Assist monitor well with two 1/4’’-20 threads on the bottom. The top NATO rail can attach the NATO handle and the side rail for an EVF mount attaching with a small camera. It comes with many 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 thread points for accessories. Combination easy plate 1598 and the battery mounting plate 1530, you can mount battery for power supply. Besides, it includes a lock HDMI protector 1693 to protect the HDMI cable.
