Overcoming the challenges in assembling a set of lenses over time, the Samyang 14mm T3.1 Cine VDSLRII Lens for Nikon F Mount covers full-frame sensors and features a multi-layer coating process for consistent color rendition from lens to lens. It features industry standard geared focus and iris rings that share a common position with other Samyang VDSLRII Cine lenses. This 14mm lens produces a 115.7°, ultra-wide angle-of-view when used with a full-frame sensor. Hybrid aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations, and the minimum focus distance is 11" from the lens.

The Samyang 14mm T3.1 VDSLR II Cine Lens has been carefully designed for professional videographers & cinematographers. This lens is solid and compact, making it travel friendly and easy to use. It features industry grade de-clicked apertures & geared focus rings. Focusing scales are marked on both sides of the lens and the glass is Ultra Multi-Coated (UMC). Samyang's UMC coating enables consistent color rendition from lens to lens and also minimizes flaring & ghosting. The included removable petal shaped lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box. This lens opens up to T3.1, allowing for low-light shooting and for creating an extremely shallow depth of field. The rounded 6-blade Aperture allows for creating soft, beautiful bokeh.
Samyang 14mm T3.1 VDSLR II Cine Lens have unified focus and aperture gear positions for reduced follow focus system adjustments and for faster lens changes. Dual calibrated right and left side distance and T-stop scales enable an assistant to pull focus and aperture from either side of the lens.
With a fast T/3.1 maximum aperture you will be able to shoot later into the day and indoors without a flash or supplemental lighting.

The Samyang VDSLR II 14mm T3.1 Lens is constructed of 14 high performance glass elements in 10 groups of which 1 are Aspherical (ASP), 1 are Hybrid Aspherical (H-ASP), 3 are High Reflective Index (HRI) & 2 are Extra Low Dispersion (ED). All of its elements are Ultra Multi-Coated (UMC).
